What to do in Tequisquiapan in 4 days - 3 nights?

The itinerary for those who want to experience it all

Day 1

3:00 pm — Arrival

From this moment on, the plan is to enjoy yourself. At Hotel Casa de Vino, we have everything ready to welcome you.


4:00 pm — The heart of Tequis

Less than a 5-minute walk away is Plaza Miguel Hidalgo. Stroll through the town center and take a moment to appreciate the beauty of Tequisquiapan. Directly across the street is the Parish of Santa María de la Asunción, a pink neoclassical church completed in the 20th century.


Then take a stroll through the Handicrafts Market:

Tequisquiapan is a basketry paradise: wicker, reeds, and rattan transformed into pieces you won't find anywhere else. Explore it at your leisure.


Night — The first toast

There's no better way to end your first day than with the Toast Package. A private area with a jacuzzi, a selection of regional cheeses, fruit, artisanal bread, and a bottle of wine to share. Simple, intimate, and perfect for two.


Day 2

7:30 am — Have breakfast at the hotel

The day starts here. Have breakfast together before heading out, because today the best of the Cheese and Wine Route awaits you.


12:00 am — Among vineyards

Daily departures: 10:00 am and 12:00 pm

The Albariño Package is the most comprehensive cheese and wine tour. In just over 6 hours, it includes a visit to the Bocanegra Cheese Cellar, the Sala Vivé cellars of Freixenet with a Uvabus tram ride through the vineyards, and the Terra Salvador Winery with a tasting of three wines. Evening — Free to explore the city center

Tequisquiapan has its own unique charm at night. Go out for dinner in the town center, stroll through the illuminated streets, and let yourself be carried away by the town's relaxed rhythm.


Day 3

7:30 am — Have breakfast at the hotel

The day starts here. Have breakfast together before leaving, because today you're going to visit another Magical Town.


10:30 am — Bernal

Daily departures: 10:30 am and 12:00 pm

The Bernal Package is the only one that takes you outside of Tequisquiapan. It begins at the La Biquette artisanal cheese shop with a tasting included. Afterward, enjoy a 1.5-hour free stroll through Bernal, a designated "Pueblo Mágico" (Magical Town), to explore its shops, take photos, and sample traditional cuisine at the foot of the Peña de Bernal. The day concludes at Viñedos Azteca with a tour of the vineyards and a complimentary crystal glass.

With a duration of 5 hours.




Afternoon — A well-deserved rest at the spa

Back at the hotel, we await you in our spa. Vinotherapy: Relaxation for your 5 senses: sauna, body and facial exfoliation, anti-stress massage with wine oils, antioxidant cream, and a glass of wine to finish.

With a duration of 1 hour and 50 minutes to let it all out.


If you prefer something more specific, the Deep Relaxing Body Wine Therapy is a one-hour full body massage, ideal for releasing the day's tensions.

Day 4

Before Dawn — The unforgettable closing

No sunrise from the ground compares to seeing it aboard a hot air balloon over the landscapes of Tequisquiapan. The Balloon Flight Package includes a 45-minute to one-hour flight, a toast with the captain upon landing, and a personalized flight certificate.


7:30 am — The last breakfast

Back at the hotel, breakfast awaits them before their departure.


10:30 am — From the heights to the depths

Daily departures: 10:30 am and 1:30 pm

The Opal Mines Package takes you by 4x4 truck to the El Redentor Mine, where you can learn about the extraction process and search for your own stones. Before entering, the miner's workshop explains how opals are cut and polished into handcrafted jewelry. The tour lasts 4 hours.

Temperate climate almost all year round, between 5°C and 28°C.

The dry season from November to April is ideal for hot air ballooning.
