Day 1

4:00 pm — The heart of Tequis

Less than a 5-minute walk away is Plaza Miguel Hidalgo. Take a stroll around the area and sit for a moment to admire the beauty of Tequisquiapan. Right across the street is the Parish of Santa María de la Asunción, a pink neoclassical church completed in the 20th century.

Afterwards, take a stroll through the Tequisquiapan Handicrafts Market; it's a basketry paradise: wicker, reeds, and rattan transformed into pieces you won't find anywhere else. Explore it at your leisure.

Night — A time for rest and calm

There's no better way to end your first day than with the Toast Package at Hotel Casa de Vino. A private area with a jacuzzi, a selection of regional cheeses, fruit, artisanal bread, and a bottle of wine to share. Simple, intimate, and perfect for two.

Day 2

At Hotel Casa de Vino we prepare breakfast for you so you can start your day with energy before heading out to explore.

11:00 am — Among vineyards

Departures Monday to Friday: 11:00 am | Saturday and Sunday: 10:00 am

The Gran Reserva Package is the most exclusive experience you can have in Tequisquiapan. It begins at the Bocanegra Cheese Cellar with a tasting of fresh and semi-aged cheeses paired with red wine. Next, at the Freixenet Vivé Room, enjoy a wine tasting and pairing of three wines with tapas, guided by the house sommelier, and accompanied by two complimentary crystal glasses. The experience concludes at Bodegas de Cote with a tour of the vineyard, the cellar, and the tank area, followed by another wine tasting and pairing of three wines. The package lasts 6.5 hours.

Afternoon — A well-deserved rest at the spa

Back at the hotel, we await you in our spa. Enjoy Vinotherapy: Relaxation for your five senses – sauna, body and facial exfoliation, anti-stress massage with wine oils, antioxidant cream, and a glass of wine at the end. A 1 hour and 50 minute session to help you unwind.

If you prefer something more specific, the Deep Relaxing Body Wine Therapy is a one-hour full body massage, ideal for releasing the day's tensions.

Evening — Dinner at leisure in the city center

Tequisquiapan has its own unique charm at night. Go out for dinner in the town center, stroll through the illuminated streets, and let yourself be carried away by the town's relaxed rhythm.

Day 3

Before Dawn — The unforgettable closing

No sunrise from the ground compares to seeing it aboard a hot air balloon over the landscapes of Tequisquiapan.

The Balloon Flight Package includes a 45-minute to one-hour flight, a toast with the captain upon landing, and a personalized flight certificate.

7:30 am — Have breakfast at the hotel

Back at the hotel, breakfast will be waiting for you. Take your time before heading out to explore another Pueblo Mágico (Magical Town).

10:30 am — Bernal

Daily departures: 10:30 am and 12:00 pm

The Bernal Package is the only one that takes you outside of Tequisquiapan. It begins at the La Biquette artisanal cheese shop with a tasting included. Afterward, enjoy a 1.5-hour free stroll through Bernal, a designated "Pueblo Mágico" (Magical Town), to explore its shops, take photos, and sample traditional cuisine at the foot of the Peña de Bernal. The tour concludes at Viñedos Azteca with a vineyard tour and a complimentary crystal glass. The package lasts 5 hours.

A tip before you come:

It is only 2 hours from Mexico City and 50 minutes from the capital of Queretaro.

Temperate climate, with moderate rainfall between June and October. The dry season runs from November to April, and it is warmer between April and June.

Throughout the year, the temperature varies between 5° and 28°C but rarely drops below 2°C or rises above 32°C.
