What to do in Tequisquiapan in 2 days - 1 night?
The itinerary you need to make the most of it
Designed for two or more people
Day 1
3:00 pm — Arrival
From this moment on, the plan is to enjoy yourself. At Hotel Casa de Vino, we have everything ready to welcome you.
4:00 pm — The heart of Tequis
Less than a 5-minute walk away is Plaza Miguel Hidalgo. Take a stroll around the area and sit for a moment to admire the beauty of Tequisquiapan. Right across the street is the Parish of Santa María de la Asunción, a pink neoclassical church completed in the 20th century.
Afterwards, take a stroll through the Handicrafts Market.
Tequisquiapan is a basketry paradise: wicker, reeds, and rattan transformed into pieces you won't find anywhere else. Explore it at your leisure.
Night — A time for rest and calm
There's no better way to end your first day than with the Toast Package at Hotel Casa de Vino. A private area with a jacuzzi, a selection of regional cheeses, fruit, artisanal bread, and a bottle of wine to share. Simple, intimate, and perfect for two.
Day 2
7:30 am — Have breakfast at the hotel
Your day starts here, without even leaving yet. At Hotel Casa de Vino, we'll prepare breakfast for you so you can start your day with energy before heading out to explore.
From midday onwards — The experience that defines the trip. You have two options depending on how you want to spend the afternoon.
Departure at 12:00 pm.
If you want everything organized for you, the Albariño Package is the most comprehensive cheese and wine tour. In just over 6 hours, you'll visit the Bocanegra Cheese Cellar, the Sala Vivé cellars of Freixenet with a Uvabus tram ride through the vineyards, and the Terra Salvador Winery with a tasting of three wines. The finale is what makes it unique: a three-course pairing lunch or dinner at La Quercia Restaurant. A complimentary crystal wine glass is included.
If you prefer to travel at your own pace, the Moscatel Package is for you. With your own transportation, you'll visit Finca Vai to learn about the cheesemaking process, including a tasting, and Viñedos Tierra de Alonso for a wine tasting and meal at their restaurant. No fixed schedule, no group.
And so ends the escape.
Two days go by quickly when you enjoy them. But the doors of Hotel Casa de Vino are always open for when you want to return. We'll be waiting for you.
